Predatorial:
In the twilight of my life
Ageless eons call to me
Generations, shades of time
An unyielding cycle of life.
No judgement, no fear
No panic, only void
She enters dusk's last light. I heed her call
Lady of darkness, mistress of night
A baying sirens song beckons me
Hunger and Torchlight guide my path
The creatures of the night stalk and wait
An Unending circle of life
Generations, shades of time
Beyond the veil, into the void
To bathe in the light of the Morningstar
Illuminated, radiant, all knowing
A life best lived in shadow
My (His) unbridled will be done.
Bestow unto me the wisdom of the light
Bestow unto me the freedom, the way…
The crowning of the glory,
The Cowering of the lamb
I'm my mind's eye,
a predatory glow.
In the shadows
A predatory glow
Flickering embers dance in the braziers.
Their Dying throes and the birth of dawn
Hear the death rattle of the wind,
Closer yet to the end
The glint of the blade in the light of the morning
Lulled into slumber by the singing of steel
A blinding finality,
Closer yet to the end …
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
I've gotten myself into GR by first getting their last album, then decided to give this one a go too. Atoms divide, life decays, seems we are into nuclear explosions here, that is how GR feels, a powerful and fast blitz and stormy riffs and groovy hardcorish - thrashy blasts. Highly recommended for all thrash lovers out there. Toxic Holocaust does come in mind, true that, Wraith, Municipal Waste fans should love this ! sachavonkarl74
